March 1, 2000 -- Earth Partnership Inc. (EPI) today
announced that their produce wash product, Mom's Veggiewash, will start web sales today at
their new site Veggiewash.com. Mom's Veggiewash is a fruit and
vegetable cleaner that helps to wash away pesticide, bacteria, and handling
contaminants. EPI president Charle-Pan Rockwell Dawson stated "Mom's Veggiewash
is a premier vegetable and fruit wash that has the ability to help many people and animals
(especially exotic birds) with high sensitivity to chemicals and contaminants - we are
very happy to offer this quality product on the web in addition to our distribution
sales." Charle-Pan goes on to say, "Children, elderly, and small
animals stand to suffer when in comes to pesticide contamination. The typical
ingestion of pesticide on a stalk of broccoli is concentrated 10-20 times more in a small
child when compared to an adult by weight. The effect becomes more exaggerated when
exotic birds ingest fruits and vegetables - the concentration can be more than 100 times
that of an adult human - Mom's Veggiewash is the perfect solution for people that care
about removing the chemicals and contaminants they ingest."
Charle-Pan developed Mom's Veggiewash during a 10 years period to have the
following unique characteristics:
- Mom's Veggiewash is a non-toxic blend of non-ionic
surfactants that washes away from all foods.
- Mom's Veggiewash contains no sodium lauryl sulfate,
Cocamide DEA or any diethylamines or triethylamines.
- Mom's Veggiewash contains no animal products,
perfumes, or preservatives.
- Mom's Veggiewash was tested on the most
bioaccumulative, environmentally persistent, and least soluble of all the pesticides - organochlorines.
